What is our method of teaching?
We offer private one-on-one thirty minute long lessons weekly and occasional group lessons. While we understand the value of private one-on-one lessons, we feel that there is a lack in the community for opportunities of learning musically among peers. Our studio will be different from others in that we will have multiple opportunities for group lessons, “mini” chamber performances throughout the year with other peers of varying abilities, and fun interactive studio days – where all students have the option to come play fun music with other students.
We believe that there is GREAT great musical value in learning to play with others – from rhythm to bowing techniques – playing with others is what sharpens a musician and keeps them accountable. This is why our lesson studio is set apart from the numerous other teachers in the area. We will be offering students the opportunity to form a musical community and in the meantime will be sharpening their musical abilities through peer interactions.
