FAQ
Do I need to purchase a violin before my first violin lesson?
No, you do not need to have a violin before your first lesson. We offer a free complimentary violin lesson for your first lesson where we will go over all the basics of the violin.
Do lessons go through the summer?
We give the option to have lessons go through the summer, but we do not require you to go through the summer. We will offer a lesson for each month so that you do not lose all that we have worked through in the school year.
How long do lessons last?
A lesson will last for 30 minutes. If a student is in the Sheboygan Symphony Youth Orchestra or any other school ensemble, we will add on an extra 15 minutes free of charge to go over the ensemble music.
Is my child too young to start lessons?
We would recommend that any child four years old or older is an excellent age to start learning the violin. (Yes, they do make smaller violin sizes.)
Can I pick any song I want for you to play?
Yes, but we will charge an extra fee depending on the cost of the sheet music. We will let you know how much it will cost and ask for your approval.
Will you attend the wedding rehearsal?
Yes, our attendance to your rehearsal is included in our quoted price, so that everything runs smoothly for your big day and is exactly how you want it!
Do I need to provide a sound system?
We can provide our own sound system, but that will be an additional charge. If your wedding is taking place at a church or wedding venue, they will usually have a sound system. If you are having a smaller intimate gathering, you do not need to worry.
