About Us
We are Rachel and Hannah, sisters and co-founders of Flying Fingers Studio established in 2024. Our love for the violin and sharing music with others is what inspired us to start this business together. We have both taught violin as well as played for various weddings, parties, and events in the area since 2013, but finally decided that we wanted to make it an official business venture together! In starting Flying Fingers Studio, we hope that it will make our services more accessible for our clients and students, allow us to engage with more individuals in this area, and help us collaborate with other violin teachers and musicians to give both our clients and students a more rounded experience.
As sisters, one of the things we cherish most in our musical journeys is being able to play with each other and in the process bring joy to those around us! For both of us, the best part about playing the violin is about creating and playing music with others. We are both active members of the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra, and have experience playing with multiple other orchestral/chamber groups such as the South Shore Choral, Florentine Opera Company, and were guest artists with our family at the Unity Music Festival.

Rachel
Rachel started playing the violin at the age of ten. She joined the Sheboygan Symphony Youth Orchestra at age fourteen and was concertmaster her senior year in high school. As a senior in high school, she became a member of the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra and still is an active member today. Rachel took various music courses in college including Music Theory 1&2, Basic Conducting, Oral Skills 1&2, and Music Appreciation. She was also part of the UW Green Bay Orchestra and University Chorus while she was studying there.
Hannah
Hannah started playing the violin at the age of eight. She joined the Sheboygan Symphony Youth Orchestra at twelve and was concertmaster her senior year in high school. As a junior in high school, she became a member of the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra and is still an active member. Hannah was one of four winners of the John Michael Kohler Art center Senior Honor recital performing various classical works.
